      Lynn Bartlett,
Thank You, The window was covered with ivy almost completely, cut the ivy around the window last week. It does look better.

I simply love your flashback photo: the shades of green, the shades of yellow, and the bright red bird! Perfect!
Agree wiwth Lynn: The window is beautiful! MCS

      Mary S,
The sunflowers are a great treat for the birds and for me to watch them. Sometimes I think the small windows to the world like our old house has is as good as the huge picture windows in new homes.

  3. I think you’re right about that being a great place to live. If I was moving south I’d have to think on it.
Those are great shots of the heron. I wish they weren’t so skittish here.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Historically Kentucky has always been an abundant place for wildlife. Native American tribes shared it as a hunting ground I have read. The heron along the river below the dams are so much more tolerant than any place else. The feeding is so good they put up with all the human activity. They fight each other at times for the best feeding spot.
