Morning Rounds

On my morning rounds it sure is looking like spring with everything turning green. The trees putting on leaves. I spent the rest of the day planting a good portion of our wildflower patches in hopes of attracting and feeding the hummers, butterflies, goldfinches and other insects…

  1. Those oak flowers will be putting out a lot of pollen. I hope you don’t have allergies!
That egret is a beautiful bird with such delicate looking feathers.
I think those might be devil’s urn fungi but I’m not 100% sure. They look very much like them.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
The oak pollen covers up my car when I park under them near the eagles nest in only an hour or two. I think you are right that it is a devil’s urn, I looked it up when I took the photo a year ago but already forgot the name. You think I would have remembered that one.
