Busy Eagle Morning

The eagles were busy again this morning. Working on the nest. Bringing a fish to the nest. Feeding the young. Once again having time for a little mating session…

Grampy, The Crows or Ravens (don’t know which they are) seem to have no hesitation to go after the Eagles when they get too close; I’ve noticed them several days in a row.
Do you think the Eagles will raise a second batch of eaglets this year with the warmer weather? Just a tho’t on my part. MCS

      Mary S,
The crows have been pestering the eagles a lot this past week. I never heard of eagles nesting twice in a year. The eaglets won’t leave the nest until June. With three little ones I am sure they will be wore down from feeding these by then.

  2. Amazing how careful the adults can be when feeding the young. You got some great eagle shots again!
I like that flashback photo too. The water was like a mirror, dead calm.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
They are careful feeding. The smallest one still gets tiny bites that the eagle has to hold a while. The other two are snapping it up now. Love it when we get those calm waters.
