The Delta Mariner is a specially designed ship to deliver rocket parts from up the shallow Tennessee River to Cape Canaveral and other locations. Infamous here now due to it crashing in to and taking out a 322 ft. section of Eggners Ferry bridge on Kentucky Lake one foggy morning in January of 2012.     Very interesting, I remember reading about the fogged in mishap back in 2012. It definitely looks like an odd shaped ship. Understandably, squatted down and flat top.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
      It is a large vessel for the rivers. They say they maintain a 9ft. draft in the rivers. Have to look back sometime and see if I see how much lower in the water it sets loaded.
