Gone To The Birds

I guess you could say I have gone to the birds. Seems like that is all that catches my eye lately. A little over a month left of winter. Here the march flowers are blooming, trees are beginning to bud and cherry trees starting to bloom. The eagles have been bringing in pieces of bark to the nest. Don’t recall them doing that more than once in the past.

Happy Valentines Day, hope you have a good one…

  1. I’m glad spring is happening somewhere. I’ve been on my roof breaking up ice dams since I got out of work so I hope the wind will blow some spring this way!
Interesting about the eagles collecting bark. I can’t imagine what they do with it. Maybe the plug holes in the nest with it.
Nice shot of the cormorant. I’ve never seen one that close!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Oh geez, not a good way to finish up a day on an icy roof. Maybe Mary S, who watches an eagle cam has seen what they do with bark? Thank You, I saw a cormorant yesterday, what made me pick that picture today. This is early for them to be returning. About a month early I would guess.
