A Visit To Ewing Bottoms In Indiana

Hello again. Back after an unplanned week off. Due to a bad cold. Still lacking energy. Geez, the past six months have been one thing after another health wise. That is OK cause it must be about time to break out of that cycle.

I made a short jaunt from our daughters to check on the sandhill cranes in the Ewing Bottoms in Indiana. About an hour and a half drive. This is my favorite place to watch these fascinating large birds. There were also a lot of snow geese. Still feeling a bit puny I did not go through many of the pics I took yesterday. Here is a sampling will add more as I go through them for the next few days….

  1. I’d say it was worth the drive; those are great shots. And you even got a bonus otter or two!
I hope you feel better soon!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Thank You, There were 4 or 5 otter feeding at a nearby wildlife refuge. They were working in an open area in the ice. Really lucky timing to see them. They did not stay there long.
