Warm December Morning

Wow, what a change from the last day out. The temperatures warmed up tremendously over Christmas. We got to 75 degrees yesterday. We had a wonderful holiday with kids and grandkids. I hope ya’ll had a great one as well…

  1. My son was able to come home from the Air Force before getting shipped out, so we had a good Christmas. Glad you did as well.
    There must have been a lot of berries that got washed into the stream to attract so many cedar waxwings.
    Nice shot of the kingfisher. It looks like he knew you were watching him.

      Wonderful that it timed out so your son could get home for Christmas. They waxwings were feeding on sumac berries. Then flying down to wash them down I guess. I think there has only been one time I photographed a Kingfisher that it did not know I was there. They are one of the toughest birds to approach. Thank You.
