New Hampshire Gardener, They are not hunted in LBL anymore as they once were so they don’t seem to be as wary.
Those are pretty hard to see. I had a difficult time counting them in the last shot.
Jomegat, They do blend in well with the winter colors. I spotted the one laying down first do to light color on the antler. Then another one would move then another one. At first glance I would have missed five.
