Partial Albino Robin and Whitetail Deer

The partial albino robin was back in the yard yesterday. I wanted to get a shot of it in a tree. Managed to capture this one shot.

Six whitetail deer were in the woods below the deck this morning before the sun got up. I was able to get one shot of one that stopped in an opening.

Beautiful shot of that robin. Love the shallow focus, gives it a dreamy quality.

      Kris,
Shooting through the hole the light was different. I had to flip to manual to get it to focus on the bird and ease my head around to try and get the birds beak in the open.

  2. I’ve seen two or three photos of white robins this year, but I’ve never seen one in the yard.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
There seem to be two or three flocks of robins that visit the yard this winter. The one with the white robin seems to have about thirty birds in it.

That’s really a very pretty bird! I’d love to see one!
