I am always up before the sun rises. Having borrowed my son’s tripod I put it to use and captured the moon setting beside my daughter’s home. Will have to get one of them tripod thingy’s. I hope you enjoyed the last post by my wife. We set it up where she can co-author here. Yeah, you might find some words of wisdom now. At the top of the post’s under the tittle it will say by______. Now it will be either Grampy or the “Little Woman”. I would like to thank New Hampshire Gardener for commenting and giving us the name of the British Soldier Lichen. The marvelous little red blooming plant that we shared in last two posts. His knowledge of plants is incredible. Click on the link and check out his website when you get a chance. All for now got to go see if the clouds might break again before the sun rises. Have a great day!

Thanks for the plug Grampy! You might find a monopod easier to carry. Not quite as stable as a tripod, but better than hand held. And relatively cheap.
New Hampshire Gardener,
I don’t think I would pack either walking, but would use one at home and on planned spots to shoot sunrises, etc.
