While eating my bowl of corn flakes in the dining room I had a surprise. Flying saucers hovering over the mountains as daylight broke. Actually it was the lights in the dining room ceiling reflecting off the windows. Heck, I can use my imagination though.
Not willing to stay at the lodge with the aliens arriving we finally risked the icy roads and headed down the mountain. We enjoyed a fun morning of taking pictures on the trail along clear creek. As always get me near water and I am a happy boy.
Ice clung to everything along the creek and the walking was treacherous. A little danger adds to the fun. Satisfied with my entries I napped in the afternoon. To much excitement for a geezer like me i Spose’. Looking out the window now the moon light is reflecting off the frozen tree by the deck. The stars are shining. We will head back to my daughters after the awards ceremony around noon. Another memorable time spent at one of Kentucky’s fine state resort parks to look back on.

Are any of these your contest entries?
New Hampshire Gardener,
No, none of these are contest entries. I will post contest entries for the “Little Woman” and I probably tomorrow if I have time with travel and all. They had two classes in the contest. The “Little Woman entered in the Amateur class. I entered in the Accomplished class.
